7 Lakes Villa La Angostura and Villa Traful

Departure in the early morning from San Martín de los Andes along the emblematic Route 40, covering 115 km. of lush forest, rivers of transparent water and the lakes Machónico, Falkner, Villarino, Escondido, Correntoso, Espejo and Nahuel Huapi.

Arriving at noon at Villa la Angostura, you will visit this beautiful city, its ports, the Residence El Messidor with its gardens. Later we will have free time to have lunch in the central area.

Then we resume the Route of 7 lakes, passing again by the lakes Espejo and Correntoso, to take the detour that leads us to Villa Traful. The route makes an attractive climb through the dense forest in search of the Portezuelo pass. When descending we make contact with the southern shore of Lake Traful. Next to the lake, through a forest of coihues, we arrive at this small mountain village in which just over 500 people reside.

After having free time to go around and taking a coffee, we return by the same route.
