Meliquina and Filo Hua Hum lakes

In this excursion we visit part of the Córdoba Pass road, Meliquina Lake and its village, the newest patagonic town, with some houses built with the same architectural style of San Martín de los Andes. It is a relaxing place to live.

Then we continue our trip along some sawmills until we arrive to Casa de Piedra, a huge cave where some Mapuche communities lived in the past. In front of the cave scenery invite us to take pictures of the Caleufu river and its rapids with an intense emerald colour.

Then we visit Filo Hua Hum lake, a small but wonderful and quiet lake, with splendid beaches, an ideal place to sunbathe and swim. In the spare time, visitors can taste homemade jams, bread and cakes that offers the bar of the camping site.

Finally, we return by the same road until San Martín de los Andes is reached.
